Our Lady of Fatima
First Saturday Devotions at St. Mary
On December 10, 1925, the Blessed Mother and the Christ child appeared to Sister Lucia, one of the three visionaries from Fatima, Portugal fulfilling her promise. On this occasion, the First Saturday devotion of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart was requested of the entire world by Our Lord Jesus. Our Lady promised to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation, to all those who on the first Saturday for five consecutive months shall: 1) Go to confession 8 days before or after; 2) Receive Holy Communion; 3) Recite five decades of the Rosary (Joyful Mysteries); 4) Keep Our Lady company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary.
Please join us in this beautiful First Saturday Devotion to Our Lady and the Christ Child beginning Saturday, October 5 at 9:00 a.m. in the church followed by the Rosary, then 15 minutes in quiet meditation of the Joyful Mysteries. Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will immediately follow the mass.
All are welcome.
