Steve Baade, brings back his Lenten Reflections Monday, March 20 at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 22 at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the Grotto. Each session covers the same material.
God chooses to include the entire story in sacred scripture – not just the good but the mistakes made by even the greatest figures in sacred scripture. Perhaps one of the purposes in inspiring the entire story to be recorded is for us to learn from the mistakes.
Join Steve as he shares his central focus/purpose in Lent – to be open to see ourselves in truth, to repent, and to seek change. His hope is that as together we study David, Jacob, and Abraham’s fatherhood legacies from Scripture – men who loved God deeply – that we can learn from their mistakes and deepen our personal and family relationships with one another and God.
A wise man learns from his mistakes. A wiser man learns from the mistakes of others.
All are welcome. We hope you can make it to one of the sessions.
